Guar Gum is produced from the endosperm of the seeds of the guar plant (Cyamopsis Tetragonolobus). Guar Gum is a high molecular weight polysaccharide which has a mannose backbone and galactose side chain. The average ratio of the two sugar units is approx. 2:1. Guar is a natural vegetable gum which does not require heat to develop full viscosity.
Hindustan Gum is producing tailor made Guar Gum products with various specifications depending upon their end applications. It produces products for food applications and industrial applications. Hindustan Gum has also developed the textile printing thickener based on Tamarind Kernel Powder. It is specially developed for printing of Polyster Fabrics with disperse dyestuffs.
Hindustan Gum makes various grades and formulations of textile grade Guar Gum Powder and Carboxy Methyl Tamarind Kernel Powder. These formulations are customised using high quality tested raw materials in fully equipped plants with robust quality & application control checks, to the specific printing needs and conditions of our customers.
Highly purified Guar splits and the splits having very high viscosity are the speciality products of Hichem. Guar Meal/Toasted Guar Meal, which is the by-product and proteinaceous feed for cattle.
Hindustan Gum is engaged in producing Guar Gum powder with wide range of viscosity from 2000 to 8500 cps measured at 1% concentration by Brookfield Viscometer at 20 rpm, 25°C. Special grade of Guar Gum is developed having viscosity at 10% concentration only 20 cps for Juices, Beverages, Health drinks etc. Depolymerized Guar Gum with viscosity range from 50 cps to 1000 cps is also produced. Modified Guar Gum such as oxidized, carboxy methylated, borated and phosphated are also produced for textile and other industrial applications.
