Hindustan Gum and Chemicals Limited has contributed to a Shelter Home Project implemented by the Madhav Prasad Priyamvada Birla Apex Charitable Trust and being run by Maa Madhuri Brij Varis Sewa Sadan (Apan Ghar Sanstha), Bhratpur (Rajasthan).

The 100 bedded Shelter Home, located near Ahmedabad was established in September 2024 to provide care and dignity to destitute and abandoned persons by ensuring access to medical treatment, nutritious food, safe shelter and other basic necessities of life.
