Depolymerized Guar Gum
Depolymerized Guar Gum is a natural, soluble fiber that dissolves quickly and smoothly. It is tasteless, colorless, and odorless, supports digestion, helps control blood sugar, and keeps you full longer. Ideal for food, beverages, supplements, and cosmetics, it also stabilizes, thickens, and improves texture.
Hindustan Gum Special Guar (HSG)
HSG is an Enzymatically Modified Guar which can mimic the properties of Locust Bean Gum quite closely. HSG has equally greate properties including stabilisation and suspending ability.
Gelling Ability: Similar to Locust Bean Gum, HSG is effective in strengthening the gel network of Carrageenan & Xanthan Gum, adding elasticity and improving mouthfeel. Addition of HSG reduces the Syneresis.
Suspension Properties: To achieve the same suspension properties as LBG in application, HSG can be used at around 0.2% to give stable and consistent suspension.
Applications: Ice Cream / Fruit preparations / Bakery & Others.
HSG Guar as an alternative to Locust Bean Gum: With current challenges in the supply and high cost of LBG, we would recommend our Special Guar as an alternative. With lower cost & similar usage quantity to LBG, Special Guar is the best alternative.
